I know.but that is just my warm up questions..If possible, pls answer my below question.

Let say now you have a interview in giant MNC.It's everybody dream to work there. You have been selected to attend interview. What and how you want to gain more attention from the interviewer to make sure they hire you.

Make sure you give the best answer because you will represent India as well.

For those who are interested to answer this question...I am welcome.

Actually it depends on lot of things, the industry type, my interests in the job, job profile and so many other things.

I dont know much about interviews, but I have just given two interviews till now....

One if for my scholarship and another one is for my Job in Taiwan.
and I got selected in both ........Thanks to mighty god.

Well, whenever I prepare for an interview...
I just focus on few things....

1. My presentation
2. My work related accomplishments
3. My positive attitude with proper eye contact
4. My disciplined life with lot of optimism
5. My selling points with details and examples
6. My Understanding about the industry and the growth in the sector.
7. and lots of questions related to my work, duties, profile and company.
8. My salary also:D

I dont know, you like it or not...but this is the way I prepare myself for an interview.

If I did any mistake, please let me know, so that I can improve myself.
Thanks.

Well,i can get dozen of candidates in minutes based from the quote.Do you think discuss about salary wise is ok while interview session?

BTW,many foreign country(Giant MNC) required a Executive Summary for cover page.

For me its a basic requirement for a Executive Summary for any candidates. If not i will ignore the applicant.

Not to forget to attach together your CHECKLIST.You know why? Most CEO or Senior Manager do not have much time to read your impressive resume. They only will refer your REFERENCE.Make sure you get a good reference for your resume.

CEO of the company have much time to take the interview....lol thats funny.
The dream company's CEO have much time....great.

First, It is allowed in India to talk about the salary, after the interview, HR always ask you about our expectations....thats why I wrote it in the END.

Second, Sure you can get thousands of candidate for the same answers, but the way of presentation matters here.....Convincing style matters...

Thirdly, You said applicant, ofcourse when someone send the resume to the company they will definitely send the cover or Draft letter or checklist along with the resume.....ah these are so basic things. Reference is nothing in India, we focus on the Talents not the references dear.

Fourth, You dint mention the position in which you are going for the interview.. was that for a CEO Job interview.? One place you are saying CEO will not have the time for your Impressive Resume, then how come he will read our executive summary...

anyways, thanks for your suggestions, i will keep all that in mind and try to improve myself

One more thing...you asked me about my skills to gain attention, not the process of applying for a job...:D

Thanks a lot.

Exclamation

No wonder....But for your information,Executive Summary only consisted of half page(max 1)..

Reference is very important in foreign MNC.You said "Reference is nothing in India, we focus on the Talents not the references dear"That is absolutely wrong dear..yes talent is very important..but what do you think if your reference is not strong enough to support your profile, its not worth to hire a guy in MNC(well establish) ... all about networking dear...
Oh God...No Wonder....................:D

Yes i do not ask you the process of applying for a job,but based from your information provided to me,i think i should teach you the process for interview session.

CEO job is not just sit in air con room and sign documents. They more focus to man power(HR) and usually will join for the interview sessions.
A job position which needs a CEO to participate for that interview...what do you think about the position for the potential interviewee??

I cannot control my laugh after i think why i cannot hire any talents in India.

and for your Kind Information, I am working for a MNC, SRS Labs, a US based company and I dint give any reference for this Job....

Thank god we are not working in Malaysia as well...

Huahahahaha....We dont work in such a small companies where CEO is sitting to take the interviews of the people, I know the job profile of the CEO, but..but why we have the HR people then.....lolz,:p

In India, We dont get a job after one interview dear, its a 3-4 round process and it take weeks to hire a talented person, not just a reference game, and we also have talented HR people, who knows who is a good and the right person for the company...:D

I worked in Taiwan, I got job without reference, Now I am working in India, I got job without reference......lol this is damn funny to read such things from your side.....I can't stop lauging.

and I really appreciate that someone like you teach me the complete process of Job....I would love to learn from you...:)

Do you think Jenna, these companies are well established....??? according to you...

1. Aavid thermolly Inc
2. Pucaro Fighholm
3. ABB India
4. ST Microsystems
5. HCL Infosystems
6. Copal partners
7. ZTN networks
8. Hwawei
9. Chunghwa Telecom
10. Fareastern Telecom
11. Microsoft
12. Intel
13. SRS Labs.
14. Parot Systems
15. Smart cube
16. Wipro
17. Spider systems
18. Dolby
19. Taiwan Semiconductor ( TSMC)
20. D-Link

Actually My list is so Big,but I am sharing only few, All are MNC's and I have friends in all those MNC's and they all got the jobs without any references....

so my point here is how references can help someone in getting a good job.
ya, it can help but those who dont have the guts to get a job on their skills and dont have potential and dont believe in themselves.

References can only help you to pass your resume in the HR section in India only.....so I hope you dont need a Indian talent, coz its really tough to get and maintain the real talent.....:p
