Smile BAN Sach Ka Saamna, Say Netas; Star TV Gets Notice !!

STAR TV is in no postion to enjoy the 4-plus TRP of Sach Ka Saamna as the government has issued a show cause notice
to the broadcasters for 'offending good taste and decency' with the new reality show.

A section of parliamentarians on Wednesday, Jul 22 raised objection to the new reality show for having content
that was not suitable for unrestricted public exhibition, and for obscenity in words.

It was Kamal Akhtar of Samajwadi Party who raised the issue during the Zero hour in the upper house.
He alleged that the question put forth to the contestants are obscene and gave examples of instances from the show.

The information and Broadcasting Ministry slapped the notice in STAR TV and has sought a reply from the channel by July 27.
The notice is based on the violation of clause 6 (1) ADIO of the programme code which says
it offends the good taste and good decency.

I&B Minister Ambika Soni has also called a meeting of NBA and IBF to discuss the
issue of regulation of content in electronic media.

Smile are we still afraid of truth

we are living in 2009, perhaps a time where we afraid most afraid of truth. yes we should ban 'sach ka saamna'. because we are immature enough not to face the truth.

1. Should we ban mahatma Gandhi... yes we can.. he always advocated for truth.
2. should we ban our courts : yes they suppose we shall be speaking the truth and truth only.
3. should be ban confessions: yes we should, no one should confess what wrong deeds he/she has done.

who will be benefited from all this: all criminals, cheaters, politicians, murderers, pakistan and terrorist.

I can not understand why one will advocate for not speaking the truth, and well it is not prime time they speak truth. they have been asked all questions before and they know what kind of question can come up next.
so if they are not comfortable with questions they can leave show at any moment.

We should welcome the person and encourage he/she for speaking the truth in frond of their friends and relatives.

Long live sach, truth and so do sach ka saamnaa
